In 1987, Barbara E. Cowen and Sara Jacobs founded a general practice firm. Brenda H. Rothman, a former assistant prosecutor and assistant deputy public defender, joined the firm in 1994. Cowen, Jacobs & Rothman specializes in family law, plaintiff’s personal injury, employment law and criminal defense. We also have many years of experience in handling both residential and commercial real estate transactions.
While are experienced in negotiation, mediation and arbitration we do not hesitate to fully litigate and/or file appeals when necessary to protect our client’s interests. Other attorneys and judges anticipate and respect our zealous representation of our clients’ interests.
